In Texas, Stagg Restaurants, a local McDonald’s franchisee, is at the forefront of this initiative. Operating 36 McDonald’s locations, Stagg Restaurants has introduced a partnership with DailyPay, offering employees access to their earned pay on-demand. Research suggests that the vast majority of Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) employees find more frequent pay beneficial, enhancing their view of their employer significantly. Stagg Restaurants is committed to adapting to meet the needs of a changing workforce, offering a comprehensive rewards package that includes generous time off, medical insurance, bonuses, free meals, uniforms, and access to educational opportunities.

As part of McDonald’s expansion efforts, three new locations are planned in Katy, Texas. One of these locations will be situated on Morton Road near Katy Park and will feature McDelivery, allowing users to order via a mobile app for delivery through Uber Eats. Additionally, construction for more McDonald’s locations in Katy is set to begin in 2025 and 2026, further emphasizing the company’s commitment to growth in Texas.
