News Summary

The Texas A&M soccer team has added Kaylee Noble, the 2023 Big West Freshman of the Year, to their roster. With a successful collegiate career at Cal State Fullerton, Noble is expected to enhance the team’s offensive prowess significantly. Her impressive stats include nine goals and five assists over two seasons, demonstrating her potential to impact the Aggies’ performance in the upcoming season. Coach Guerrieri anticipates her contributions will elevate the team’s overall strategy and success.

College Station, Texas – The Texas A&M soccer team has officially welcomed Kaylee Noble, the 2023 Big West Freshman of the Year, as a new addition to their roster, significantly enhancing their offensive capabilities. Texas A&M head coach G Guerrieri announced the signing, highlighting Noble’s potential to immediately impact the team’s scoring ability.

Noble, a forward hailing from Lakewood, California, brings two years of NCAA eligibility to Texas A&M after an impressive stint with Cal State Fullerton. During her time with the Titans, she was named to both the All-Big West First Team and the United Soccer Coaches All-West Region Third Team for her standout performance in the 2024 season, where she played a key role in her team’s attack.

With a total of 40 matches played for Cal State Fullerton, including 25 starts, Noble demonstrated her skills on the field by accumulating 23 points through nine goals and five assists. She notably scored three game-winning goals, showcasing her ability to deliver under pressure. In her freshman year, she appeared in 20 matches with 10 starts, contributing eight points with three goals and two assists, while also playing over 45 minutes in twelve games.

Noble’s second season further solidified her reputation as a leading scorer, as she played in another 20 matches, starting 15, and logged 1,216 minutes on the field. She led her team with six goals, along with three assists, racking up a total of 15 points. She also maximized her shooting potential, recording 45 shots and 23 shots-on-goal, which reflects her aggressive approach towards scoring.

Coach Guerrieri emphasized that Noble, labeled as a “late bloomer,” has shown consistent improvements throughout her collegiate career. This projection suggests that her contributions could continue to elevate the team’s performance as she settles into her new environment. Furthermore, her previous coaching experiences at both the high school and club levels have also been noteworthy. Noble attended Los Alamitos High School, where she led her team to the CIF SS Division 1 Championship game and the State Regional Championship game. She also played club soccer for Slammers FC, managed by coach Louis Segovia, where she played a vital role in winning the club championship in 2022.

The recruitment of players like Noble is essential, especially as the U.S. Girls National Team rosters become a focal point, with several notable players also recently entering the recruiting window. As the college soccer landscape remains competitive, only 7.8% of high school players have a chance to advance to college soccer, with less than 2% officially recruited to play at the NCAA level. These figures illustrate the challenges faced by aspiring athletes.

Recruiting experts play a crucial role in helping players navigate through the complexities of the recruitment process, ensuring they find programs that align with their skills and objectives. Successful transitions, like that of Connor Louden, who moved from a smaller Division I school to the University of the Pacific, illustrate the significant impact of having a knowledgeable advocate in the recruitment journey.

With Kaylee Noble’s inclusion in the Texas A&M roster, expectations are high for an enhanced offensive strategy, contributing to the overall success of the Aggies in the upcoming season.
