His expanded role includes oversight of the Division of Finance and Business Services and the Division of Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness (HROE). John Crawford will continue in his position as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President for Finance and Business Services, while Henry Judah, who recently held the position of Interim Chief Human Resources Officer, has been appointed Vice President for Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness. Additionally, Michelle Mitchell is taking on the role of Chief Data Management Officer, responsible for managing data governance and analytics initiatives, and Michael O’Quinn has been appointed as Chief Strategy Officer.

The reorganization is intended to encourage collaboration among different units, as each operational segment will continue to be led by subject matter experts. This measure ensures that there will be no overlap in functions between human resources, finance, business services, and data/strategy. Despite the changes in leadership, daily operations in these divisions are expected to remain unaffected, according to university officials.
