COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Three Texas A&M baseball students have been honored for their outstanding performances in the 2025 season, earning spots on the ABCA/Rollings NCAA Division I Central All-Region Teams. Third baseman Wyatt Henseler has been named to the first team, while left-hander Justin Lamkin and outfielder Jace LaViolette received second-team distinctions. This marks the fourth consecutive season in which multiple Texas A&M Aggies have achieved ABCA/Rawlings Central All-Region recognition.

The ABCA/Rollings All-Region teams are selected by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and overseen by the ABCA NCAA Division I All-America & Coach of the Year Committee. The selections celebrate exceptional performances among collegiate athletes across the country.

Wyatt Henseler had an impressive single season with the Aggies, starting all 56 games. He recorded a slash line of .319/.423/.562, leading the team in doubles with 15 and hitting 12 home runs. Henseler also contributed significantly to the team’s offense with 33 RBIs and 48 runs scored. Over the course of the season, he recorded 16 multi-hit games and seven multi-RBI performances. This honor is Henseler’s third consecutive award after receiving similar recognition during his tenure at Penn, and he is now eligible for All-America honors, which will be announced on June 14.

Justin Lamkin completed the season with a commendable earned run average (ERA) of 3.42 over 15 starts. He led the team with 98 strikeouts in 84 1/3 innings pitched, maintaining a 1.10 WHIP and limiting opponents to a .235 batting average. In his final start of the regular season, Lamkin achieved a career-high of 15 strikeouts while pitching a complete game shutout against No. 10 Georgia. His remarkable performance earned him SEC Pitcher of the Week honors, along with recognition as National Pitcher of the Week by several organizations.

Jace LaViolette also made a significant contribution to the team’s success, starting all 56 games and showcasing a slash line of .258/.427/.576. He hit 18 home runs, recorded nine doubles, and amassed an impressive 61 RBIs. LaViolette led the team with 19 multi-RBI games and 15 multi-hit games, including four multi-homer performances throughout the season.
